I am an electronic engineer and I am working in Mark Johnson’s team as a research assistant. I am trying to help Mark design new electronic circuits, repair older ones and build machines that enable scientists learn more about the animal world. We are making tools to make the scientists’ lives easier. Sometimes the work requires us to calibrate and adjust the design depending on if it is going to be used in the sea or on land. It is very exciting to try to use all the new advances, and to update the existing hardware. The environment is very friendly and conductive to hard work.
